The eagle circled over land and sea.
“Earth belongs to no one –
Not even me.”
The people said, “But Earth is ours
and we create technology.”
But cocooned in the digital matrix
their freedom slipped away
while the eagle circled free.
We should dream to soar like the eagle
so we can swoop and cry with glee
taking flights of our imagination
as far as we can see.
